Giovanna Riboli

Giovanna Riboli was born in Florence, wasawarded degrees in Piano in 2001, and inOrgan and Organ composition in 2009.After her studies in Italy, she movedto Holland to focus on early music,graduating with Bachelor and Masterdegrees in Organ from the Conservatoriumvan Amsterdam. In 2017 she received adegree in Choral Conducting.She regularly performs as a soloist andas a part of various chamber groups inItaly, Holland, Germany, Spain, France,Argentina and Uruguay. She regularlyperforms in prestigious international musicfestivals and with well-known choral andorchestral conductors.Between 2009 and 2012, she wasassistant organist of the Oude Kerk inAmsterdam, and in 2012 was organist andchoir conductor at the Catedral AnglicanSan Juan Bautista in Buenos Aires.In 2015 she was appointed titular organist of the Badia Fiorentina in Florence.In addition, she directs the “Dino Bonciani” choir, “Minima Choralia” choir,“Choir of the Biblioteca Nazionale di Firenze”, and is co-founder and artistic directorof “Mesotonica”, a musical association based in the city of Prato, Tuscany, and of theInternational Festival of early music “PratoAntiqua”.
